Lugister is a Chrome extension that fires an emoji across a friend's screen. This page explains exactly what it collects, what it never touches, and who else sees any of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What Lugister never sees
This is the important part, so it comes first.
- The pages you visit. Lugister does not read, store or send the content of any web page, the URLs you visit, or your browsing history.
- The only code that runs on a page is the piece that draws an incoming emoji. It waits to be handed an emoji and animates it. It cannot read the page around it, and it is only installed at all after you turn on “I'm reachable” and grant permission. Turning that off removes it.
- To know whether a friend's emoji has anywhere to land, Lugister checks whether you have an ordinary web page open. That check happens on your own computer. What leaves it is a yes or no — never which page, or how many.
- Lugister does not sell your data, does not share it with data brokers, and does not use it for advertising or to train any model.
What Lugister does collect
- Your Google account. Signing in is through Google. We receive your Google account id, your email address, your display name and your profile picture. Your name and picture are shown to the other people in your crew, so they know who fired at them. Your email address is not shown to anyone else.
- Your crew. Which crew you are in, and any invite codes you create.
- Your cannon. The skin and accessories you have chosen, so your cannon looks the same on every computer you sign in on.
- Your credits. Your balance, the record of how you earned or spent it, and which items you have unlocked.
The emoji themselves are not kept
A shot is passed from you to your friend and then forgotten. Lugister does not keep a record of what you fired, at whom, or when. Restart the server and every shot in flight is simply gone. There is no history to hand over, because none is written down.
Where it is stored
Your account, crew, cannon and credits live in a database run by Supabase. The service that connects you to your crew runs on Render. This website is hosted by Vercel. Sign-in is handled by Google. Nobody else receives your information.
Your sign-in session is also kept on your own computer, in the extension's storage, so you are not asked to sign in every time. Signing out removes it.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. Lugister keeps your account for as long as you use it, and deletes it when you tell us to.
Deleting your account
Email uselugister@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete your account, your crew membership, your cannon and your credits. You can leave a crew at any time from the extension itself, which removes you from it immediately.
Children
Lugister is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If what Lugister collects ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too.
